Chair of Governors
Hello my name is Jason Goff.
I feel very privileged to have been elected chair of governors for this new academic year and to be working with such a professional team of staff and governors.
Governors are volunteers and our main role is to work with the school ensuring that your children receive the best education in a supportive and safe setting.
Essentially, the role involves being part of a like-minded group of individuals, supporting and challenging the Schools’ senior leadership team where appropriate. The shared goal is to ensure delivery of the Schools’ strategic objectives that include curriculum development, financial management and safeguarding, and as a result leads to the achievement of the best possible outcomes for all our pupils.
I was very pleased and proud of the efforts of the whole school when we were recently assessed as Good by Ofsted. This is a clear affirmation of the excellent leadership and direction taken in recent years by the Leadership Team and staff alike. I am looking forward to working with my fellow Governors and Staff to continue to improve Colebrook Junior School for all the children.
