Wednesday

I’m pleased to announce that the children were all quiet and settled (not necessarily asleep) by 11p.m. The girls stayed settled until around 7.30 but the boys were once again up and about before 6 a.m.

This morning we have groups caving, crate stacking, climbing and the Colebrook versions of Robin Hood on the archery. Colebrook has always had success in the archery which is an inter school competition with the other two schools attending. I’m hopeful that the tradition will be upheld this year as one of the Colebrook boys has already scored an impressive 80/90. The assault course and orienteering are also competitive and the schools all compete for the fastest time on each.

This evening we will be looking to walk down to the beach for an ice cream.

Here are a few photos from this evening's walk to the beach. The children enjoyed an ice-cream and a run around on the beach. Needless to say we skipped the hot chocolate tonight and the gamble paid off, it's 11p.m. and all is quiet on the dormitory front...shhhh... don't speak too soon!
