Morfa Bay 2014
Monday Evening Update
We arrived safely after a pleasant and relaxing journey, shouts of 'Are we there yet?' didn't begin until we were at least 5 minutes outside of Swindon!
Bunk beds were chosen, bags were stowed safely away and the first room inspection looked promising. Let's hope it lasts.
Children took part in mountain biking, orienteering, caving and the dreaded zip wire! There were smiles all round despite the occasional bike crash!
Children ate their dinner with gusto and even mingled well with children from another school after having been encouraged to find out more about them.
It is at this point we introduce the 'Morfa Bay Quote of the Day'
In endeavouring to find out more about the children in the other school. One Colebrook boy boldly asked a girl from the other school:
"So... Do you come here often?"
The time is now 11:43pm. The children are mostly asleep, hopefully the sunshine and sea air have worked their magic and the children will sleep well. Hope we haven't spoken too soon...
