Author Visit and Library Opening
On the 4th February 2015, the author Gareth P. Jones came to our school to officially open our new school library. Click on the link to find out more about Gareth! http://www.garethwrites.co.uk/home/
Not only did he cut the ribbon, he talked to us all about his books and where he gets his inspiration from and he played the ukulele, the accordion and the piano! For each of his books, he has written a soundtrack that accompanies the story. We were all enthralled, he was very inspirational!
In the afternoon 10 children from each class joined Gareth for a workshop session.

Then, after school, he signed copies of his books. We had a fantastic day and can't wait to read Gareth's books in our new library!
