We are delighted to be able to inform you that the final report from our Ofsted Inspection, that took place on the 11th and 12th March 2020 has now been published.
We were thrilled with the news that we remain a GOOD school.
This result reflects the continued determination, passion and hard work, not only by the staff, but by the children. We were so very proud of them and the way they continued to demonstrate good learning behaviours throughout the inspection. Not only were they a credit to the school, but a credit to you as parents and carers.
We were delighted that the Inspector recognised so many positive things including:
- the welcoming and caring ethos of the school
- the ambitious and exciting curriculum
- the well planned maths curriculum
- the love of reading that permeates through the whole curriculum
- the strength of our SEND provision.
The areas for development were areas we had already identified and are on our School Improvement Plan and will continue to be a focus in the coming academic year.

All that is left for me to say is that, as Head teacher of Colebrook Junior School, I am so very proud of our school community and I am looking forward to building on our successes and partnerships with children, parents and governors as we continue on our learning journey.
