Friday 13th June

Following the best bedtime staff have ever experienced (all children asleep within 20 minutes), everyone woke up feeling rested and ready to return home. The children are sad to be leaving Morfa Bay but are very excited to get home to see their... pets - sorry parents!

Colebrook impressed the staff at the site by being the first school to have all their bags outside their dorms, ready to load onto the coach.

The farewell meeting was a great chance to celebrate all the children and their achievements of the week, but also a chance for us as staff to choose our Star of the Week, Top Archer and for them to name the winning group for the assault course. Top Archer for Colebrook went to Alfie A with a high score of 68, whilst group Amroth (Mrs Anderson's group) had the fasted time for the assault course. We have been impressed by all the children and are so proud of the way they have carried themselves but after some discussion, our star of the trip is... Sienna S!

Children had the chance to visit the shop and were very sensible in their choices. Staff also purchased some additional bits from the shop to give as prizes for the winners of the nomination raffle.

We are on our way back now and will be stopping at the services to eat our packed lunches.

See you all soon!
