Thursday Update
The bad weather we have been expecting all week finally hit us this morning and hasn't really let up for most of the day, but it hasn't bothered the children at all.
Mountain Biking was a success for group Angle this morning, even if a little slippery in the rain.
Amroth worked together well (eventually) at Team Challenge, with the children using great initiative and suggesting different ways to complete the activities.
After lunch, all 3 groups went down to the beach for sea activities which was hilarious in the wind. We had to ditch the bodyboards early on as they kept drifting away in the choppy sea, but we managed to stay in for the whole session and enjoy the waves..
The children had an absolute blast with one saying "This is the best day ever!"
Our final activities of the trip were Bushcraft, Abseiling and Mud Assault Course.
The children enjoyed making and tasting their own flatbread. Group Caldey gave abseiling their all and Miss Kearney blinked and almost missed Nala flying down the wall.
Amroth were desperate to get to the assault course and get muddy, even doing mud angels to level up their muddiness.
As a whole group, the children have given their all to every single activity this week and it has been fantastic to see.
We enjoyed our BBQ this evening and are off to the Disco - Colebrook children have made such an efffort and are looking very dapper!
