Morfa Bay Day 2

Update so far... (by Mrs Scully - so no photos!) The weather is good, warm but not too sunny! It was the sea activity session this morning.  Everyone took part and had a great time.  The waves were the best the instructors had seen for a long time apparently. Good news all round!

We've had a great second day with the children pushing themselves out of their comfort zones yet again. We had an amazing experience in the sea this morning with ALL of the children body boarding and jumping over the waves. Every single one of them had a smile on their face and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Two groups went caving this afternoon and the children were very forward in answering questions about how caves are formed and what you might expect to find in one. The other two groups went abseiling and all of them made it down the quarry, even after some initial hesitation. Rock pool studies was a more relaxed activity for some this afternoon and the children were thrilled to find a variety of sea creatures including shrimps and crabs. One group even named their crabs - Skittles and Emerald. There was more archery and biking on the cards and the children (and Miss Coffey) managed to get some high scores in the archery. Well done Colebrook!

This evening, we are staying behind to enjoy a more chilled evening of games on the field.
